Chapter 384: “The Inspiring Spirit”
Asta rises and greets Leopold, who is overjoyed by Asta’s return. Asta welcomes everyone. The miniature Liby apologizes to Asta for what happened when he was a guardian for the revived Lilita. Leo, Langris, Finral, and Kirsch are excited and ready to fight. Noelle, Mimosa, and Charmy arrive; Noelle activates “Sea Goddess Valkyrie Dress: Black Dragon Form” to face the angels. In the Hino country, Heath (snow chains user) transforms into a Paladin and is controlled by Lucius; he chokes Ryuya Ryudo and asks why Ryuya went to such great lengths to help Asta, pointing out that a magicless being whose future can’t be seen is a flaw in the eye. Flashback: Ryuya contemplates the price of the Tingentsu eye (allows seeing everything in the present at the cost of his magic power). He doesn’t regret sacrificing himself for his country, friend, and superior Yosuga, but he struggled with losing his dreams and promise to be Yosuga’s rival. While searching for meaning and the missing Yami Sukehiro, Ryuya discovered Asta, the boy without magic who never gave up despite overwhelming circumstances. The young adult Ryuya watched Asta since childhood, gaining strength to continue. Through Asta, Ryuya found Yami when Asta met his captain for the first time. Heath prepares to finish Ryuya, saying the new world doesn’t need a shogun; Yosuga arrives to save him. Transition to Yuno fighting Lucius; Yuno copies Asta’s “Black Meteorite,” but Lucius warns that Yuno’s anti-magic spirit magic is running out. Asta returns to the fight just in time. Paladin Lilita by Lucius’s side asks if they can really cut her. Asta and Liby strengthen their resolve, cutting Paladin Lilita. The chapter ends with Asta yelling at Lucius, declaring this is the final battle.

Chapter 385: “The Stupid Gamble”
A fast-paced battle between Asta, Liby, and Yuno against Lucius. The secret behind Yuno and Asta working against Lucius: in their minds, “Rivals pull each other up, faster and deeper, to become stronger.” Yami and Nacht struggle against the enhanced Paladin Morgen. Adrammelech approaches Yami and offers to lend his power. Adrammelech, instead of controlling Lucius for a higher goal, changed his heart; he specifically asks Yami because of his dark magic and what happened to his body (survived Cliffoth’s ritual and consumed Kikeongan’s devil powers in chapter 374). Yami qualifies as a devil host. Yami asks why Adrammelech is helping; Adrammelech says he finds humans more entertaining than Lucius or Lucifero, acting as a neutral audience like Ryuk from Death Note—he doesn’t care who wins but what’s entertaining. Adrammelech watched Lucifero fight because Lucius said the Demon King would lose, giving Lucius an opening, but Lucius became predictable and clichéd as a villain after his big reveal in chapter 331. Adrammelech finds humans struggling futilely more entertaining. Yami accepts the offer and becomes Adrammelech’s host as a “stupid gamble.” Lucius (via telepathy) asks Adrammelech why he’s betraying him; Adrammelech says it would be boring if Lucius wins as expected. Adrammelech has light magic, giving Yami speed to overcome the slowness of dark magic and keep up with Morgen’s speed of light. Yami and Adrammelech combine light and dark magic, a perfect counter to Lucifugus and Morgen. Morgen is cut at the end of the chapter.

Chapter 386: “The Effort”
Merioliona defeated Acier (no details on mid-battle improvement, unlike previous fights); they shared history, but the story wraps up the final confrontations. Noelle doesn’t finish her mother, but they had an emotional fight as one Silva family. Lucius is annoyed by the continued resistance, including Adrammelech’s betrayal and Asta/Yuno’s progress. Lucius sends a massive attack with many types of magic towards the civilians in the Clover Kingdom, called “Ultimate Extreme Final Magic: Unified Formation,” charged from the Tree of Light behind him, to erase the kingdom with one blow. Yuno and Asta wonder how to stop the huge spell. Fuegoleon says keep your eyes on Lucius and enters spirit dive, uniting with the fire spirit Salamander. As one Vermillion family, Fuego, Merioleona, and Leopold attack together to destroy Lucius’s huge spell. Asta and Yuno advance to fight Lucius, joining forces in a panel; Yuno shows a new spirit dive form, filled with light with a four-leaf clover leaf on it. The chapter ends with them cutting Lucius.
