New Staff Announcement for Season 2 of Anime “Chained Soldier”

“Chained Soldier,” also known as “Mato Seihei no Slave,” is an exciting action-fantasy series adapted from a popular manga of the same name, written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura. The manga began serialization on Shounen Jump+ in January 2019 and has reached volume 19 so far. The series blends elements of action, fantasy, and ecchi, making it highly popular among anime fans.

Anime Story

The story unfolds in a world threatened by destructive monsters emerging from a dimension called “Mato,” where women gain supernatural powers through “Peaches” that enable them to confront these threats. The narrative follows Yuki Wakura, a young man who finds himself trapped in Mato and is rescued by Kyoka Uzen, leader of the 7th Squad in the Demon Defense Force. Kyoka uses her “Slave” ability to integrate Yuki into the team, allowing him to boost the powers of the other girls through physical contact, leading to thrilling and humorous situations. The first season, produced by Seven Arcs studios and aired in winter 2024 with 12 episodes, focused on Yuki and his team’s adventures facing monsters and challenges.

Season 2 Details

Season 2 is set to premiere on January 8, 2026, and will first air on the AT-X channel at 11:00 PM, followed by Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and MBS. This season features changes in the production staff, with Masafumi Tamura taking over as director, known for works like “Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru.” The production is a collaboration between Passione and Hayabusa Film studios.
